Hello,
This is my first blog post, so bear with me.  I love to sew quilts, bags, and other useful items. I also love to play with yarn.  There are very few fabrics or yarns that I've met that I haven"t started thinking what could I make with you!  Needless to say, I have a bit of a stash.  (My family says,"a bit"?)

Yesterday the Seahawks won their division championship and are now Superbowl bound. WhooHoo!!!!! So as I was thinking about the upcoming game,  Saturday night I was inspired to make a hat in Seahawk colors. Here's what I came up with. I finished the hat just as the clock ran out at the end of the game.

This was really  fun to make but challengintg. I had to change colors constantly. When I finish writing up the pattern, I'll have to share. The hat itself is currently for sale at Rustic n Renewed a shop in Hillyard that displays my wares. If you're in the Spokane area, you should check out Hillyard.  It's undergoing a revitalization.  I'll have to blog about Hillyard another day.

That's all for now. The yarn is calling. I've got to go make a headwarmer for my daughter Jessica that I promised her over a week ago. I was delayed getting going on it because I was out of the cream colored Red Heart Soft that works best for this pattern.  I'll post pictures and inspiration credits next time.

Until then I hope you're Kept n Stitches!
